Post 6 English Language Challenges

English at the university was a good experience, I was in number 3 and 4, in both at first with a little concern, especially in English 4 because it would be in person, and being the last one I thought it would be too complicated and I would not understand anything, but it was a very friendly subject, the teacher did various activities in a class to practice, making it more dynamic, and I seriously learned new things, details that make a difference.

I think I need to improve my fluency, for that with my sister we help each other, we both have knowledge on the subject, sometimes we try to speak at home all in English, we get tired, but it's a good way to try to start more natural conversations and fluid. In addition, we realize the virtues and flaws of each one. When you practice English with someone and trust it is much better.

I use English when I search for information for the university, such as scientific articles, because most of it is in English, and if it is searched in Spanish there are chances that it will not appear because the translation does not match.

Post 5: Changes to my Study Program

Hello, I am in the second year of the dentistry career and I understand the class plan that starts from the most general to the most specific, I agree, as well as the time of pre-clinical and clinical, but with respect to the times that are dedicated to each subject are unbalanced, I think that some subjects are dedicated more time than they should be in relation to work-credits and the requirement for the following semester to take certain courses.

The infrastructure, it is big, but they should improve the audio in the classrooms and yards, put tables and chairs, but even so there are few spaces to sit or rest. In the CEO space they should place more armchairs or change them.

The technologies have been used well, depending on the subject, for example there are times when the recorded classes have very low audio or the audio has to be repeated many times because a word is not understood.

The methods also depend on the subject, I am not satisfied with everything, but I am not dissatisfied with all either. I see the enthusiasm of the teachers that we learn, but there are times when that "surprise" in explaining things is lacking, according to me the things that cause wonder remain more engraved in the mind.

Post 4: Time Travel to the Future

 I had never asked myself where I would go in the future, yes many times the typical question where I would like to return to the past. But now that I think about it, I would like to go to the country Japan, it is very advanced in its technology, for example there are already robots serving people in cafes, in hotel receptions, so I think that about twenty years more, maybe there will be flying cars around the streets, I think they already exist but not for the common public.

I wouldn´t like to stay forever, maybe one month to explore, because I would contact my family, (it would be very crazy), and I would feel sad because they would be bigger or some are not alive, so I prefer to go back to my period and see how everything happens when it has to happen.

Post 3 : My Dream Job

I think my dream job is related to acting, I love watching movies, in two hours the actors have to impersonate someone else, and even though you know they are acting, you get emotional with the events. They are incredible, in their career they go through different roles, realities, you must completely transform yourself. There are movies that are recorded  in other countries, such as scenes in deserts, forests, that is much better than a green screen background.

I think that if I had been born in another country like the United States or England I would have dedicated myself to that, but in Chile I don't like its cinema,  TV series, and the theater. So no, here it would not be what I expect.

Now I study odontology , I like it and I decided it from personal experience, I had hang-up  with my teeth when I was little and I would like to help others to overcome it like me. And I still feel that they have something to do with acting, I would like to specialize with children and sometimes you have to have acting skills so that they do not feel afraid and reassure them in the sessions.

The best concert ever

I think everyone knows the band one direction, even by name, it was very popular when I was in elementary school, and my friends since those times made me a fan of the band, I still remember that they showed me the video "What Makes You Beautiful ", and the rhythm was very good, and the video was simple showed such as summer, beach, friends having a good time, I liked it too much. I liked most about his songs was his various concepts in the songs and their different and unique voices, which gave the songs a spark . In 2014 they came to Chile at the national stadium, if I remember correctly they only came for one day, but the tickets ran out quickly, so they came for two days, April 30^th and May 1^st . I went on April 30^th  with my dad because I was twelve years and my friends were in other sectors, but it was incredible, he helped me record. Seeing them in person everything was more beautiful, their voices, their faces, their aura and it is a good feeling that many people with the same taste meet in a place to enjoy it. It was a nice experience, now listening to them reminds me of my friends with their notebooks, pencils, pins and posters. With my friends we follow different paths, but I know they are okay.
